This is a general level class suitable for students of all abilities. All basic yoga poses will be taught through a systematic, carefully graded program. Yoga practice helps to strenghten and relax the body and mind. It brings flexibility and restores balance and calm. You will learn correct alignment in the poses which can help you overcome and prevent many stresses, strains, aches and pains. It promotes a firm foundation for health and well-being.

Saturdays Intermediate Level Class
Intermediate level

Saturdays, 10:00 – 12:00pm
This class is for students with at least 2 year’s experience of Iyengar Yoga. Students should be familiar with the basics of Iyengar Yoga and be ready to explore more intermediate poses which are introduced in this class. Having an injury or health condition is not a barrier to attending Intermediate classes. As an example students should be able to hold a steady Sarvangasana (shoulder stand) for 5 minutes. Sirsasana (head stand) is taught in this class. The class aims to impart an understanding of the proper way to work sensibly with their challenges.

Yogaloft Studio is in the Bristol City Centre near Queen Square. It is situated on the top floor of Bristol Osteopaths.
